We were inspired by the film called Inception because we believe that the concept of "living the dream" is unique and original. We believe that it is interesting to initiate an idea which asks the question, " is this really reality or a sub-concious indulgence?" Our film premonition is both a thriller and a horror one. We believe that inception is an inspiration as it's main elements have been considered and added into our main plot. Inception is a thrilling film that literally has the audience on their seats. Premonition like inception aims to get the audience to put their thinking caps on and think about the ongoing events and how they will determine the final outcome of the film.



Another film that is influential within the creation of our main plot and horror genre is the grudge. The grudge is a horror film that is based mainly on haunting certain individuals and victims through paranormal activities in the hope to achieve retribution for their unfortunate and cruel death. We were inspired by the grudge's paranormal element and have heavily considered having a character like the character Kayako in the grudge. We believe that an innocent girl who lives through death seeking retribution is a clever ploy that will add an element of fear and paranormal interest within our film.
